Come along and meet Cirencester Round Table
No pressure, no cost, just a friendly introduction
Every year through a combination of tenacity, hard work, perseverance and fun, Cirencester Round table raise in excess of £20k which is provided to local charities in need of specific assistance. Whether we are running the annual fireworks display or rattling a tin on Santa’s sleigh, it’s always nice to tell the people that their money is being reinvested back into the local community.
For 2017 we are particularly pleased to be supporting the Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity in their quest to provide 3 jaundice meters for the Cirencester area. Our aim is that profits from the fireworks display will enable us to buy a Jaundice meter outright, enabling local midwives to run a quick, simple and easy test on new born babies, with the minimum of disruption and inconvenience for new mothers.
If you have a charitable cause that you think we might be interested in supporting then please get in touch – so far this year 1st Cirencester Scouts have received a new roof, Whitefriars Sailing Club have received a new sailability boat and many others have benefitted from smaller amounts. We always prefer to finance a whole purchase rather than just provide a contribution, but give us a try – you never know!
Would your charity or organisation benefit from support from Cirencester Round Table?
We prioritise local causes that benefit more than one person. Where possible we like to purchase a tangible asset.
